Teaching Portfolio Summary
Adhering to the "student-centered" teaching philosophy, I am committed to implementing the Tsinghua University's distinctive "Trinity" educational concept, which integrates "value shaping, ability cultivation, and knowledge transmission." This approach guides students to experience fundamental mathematics courses that are both profound and engaging. The primary teaching methods are as follows:
Employing heuristic and seminar-based teaching methods to fully capture students' curiosity and desire for knowledge.
Clarifying the motivation behind the development of concepts and the essence of theories. The focus extends beyond merely teaching knowledge and concepts to, more importantly, cultivating students' ways of thinking and learning methods for discovering concepts and exploring knowledge.
Combining the abstract with the concrete, and algebra with geometry, to make abstract mathematical concepts tangible and accessible.
Integrating theory with application, emphasizing the practical use of acquired knowledge.
Since beginning my teaching career in 2008, I have been consistently teaching on the front lines, instructing undergraduate students in fundamental and specialized mathematics courses. In recent years, my primary teaching responsibilities have included the undergraduate general foundation courses "Linear Algebra" and "Calculus B." I am known for my conscientious teaching attitude and have achieved outstanding teaching results, earning immense popularity among students.
