Teaching Series: Professor/Associate Professor/Lecturer

Position Description:

1. Under the leadership of the course director, strictly adhere to teaching requirements and actively participate in course development;

2. Meet the workload requirements for the teaching series in Tsinghua University;

3. Achieve excellent classroom teaching outcomes and perform well in teaching evaluations;

4. Focus on the growth of teaching assistants and actively organize and participate in student tutoring and Q&A sessions;

5. Actively participate in teaching reforms and research activities, align closely with the teaching philosophy of our university’s foundational mathematics courses, produce teaching research outcomes, and compile textbooks.

Qualifications:

1. Hold a doctoral degree; bachelor’s or doctoral degree should be in a mathematics-related field, preferably with postdoctoral research experience or experience teaching mathematics courses.

2. Passionate about teaching, care about student growth, work diligently and responsibly, proactively participate in course development, and possess innovation and strong teamwork spirit;

3. Have extensive experience in mathematics teaching (if applying for professor or associate professor) and strong communication skills;

4. Possess strong academic qualifications, actively conduct educational and disciplinary research over the past five years, with research outcomes making an impact in relevant fields or disseminated on related platforms; or have edited textbooks for foundational mathematics courses over the past five years with significant influence;

5. Preference given to those with experience teaching relevant courses.
